I was born in Mariupol, a city shaped by the steppe and the sea. Its form has since changed beyond recognition. This path continues to inform my work.

I am now based in Zurich.

My practice is built on a developed composite of paper and natural clay, combined with straw, soil, bark, ash, and mineral pigments. Working with natural materials opens a continuous field of experimentation and observation — a direct engagement with matter and its transformation. The work develops through accumulation, compression, and natural drying, allowing the surface to record its own formation.

Form is the starting point, yet it never remains fixed. The material responds and shifts. Cracks emerge beyond control and become part of the structure. Color is embedded within the mass.

The vessels move beyond function. They exist between sculpture and painting, between object and state. What matters is the relationship between form, surface, and condition — a balance that allows the work to hold its own presence.

Each piece carries a sense of state. Completion occurs when the work holds its own character.

Silence and stillness are central to my practice.

The work is made to be encountered — to create resonance.
